PYP Library Teacher
Brenda is originally from the state of Ohio in the USA. She has a Bachelor’s degree in French Education from The Ohio State University, where she began of her love of living and traveling internationally during a study abroad program in Europe.
While in the USA, she taught secondary French and was a Reading Specialist for grades K-3. During her time as a French Teacher, she spent over ten years taking students to France and surrounding countries, offering an authentic global perspective to her students.
Following her global passions, she earned her Master of Education in International Education Administration from Endicott College while studying abroad in Switzerland. She taught PYP homeroom in an international IB school in Beijing before coming to Shenzhen to join ISNS.
Outside of the school day she has many interests including coaching volleyball, watching her kids play sports, watching Ohio State football, walking, jogging, hiking and playing golf, as well as exploring new places and spending time with her son and daughter who are DP and MYP students at ISNS.
