In 2006 Michael graduated with his Bachelor of Education degree specializing in Visual Art as his first teachable and Social Studies as his second.
Michael believes that it is through the art-making process that students acquire knowledge and skills in the use of language, materials, tools and techniques that enable them to respond to the world around them in ways that allow students to make connections, globally, culturally and historically.
Visual art offers the opportunities for self-reflection and expression through the development of problems-solving and higher order thinking skills necessary for success in life and the workplace.
