PYP EAL Teacher - Grade 3-5
Mihaela Priceputu comes from Europe and she obtained her Bachelor Degree as an English teacher in 2003. Since then she has been working with students of different ages supporting them towards a better understanding of the language and of the culture.
Ms. Priceputu joined ISNS in 2015, and since then she has been teaching EAL to G2-G5 students. Teaching English is not just focusing on building up language skills but it’s also building character and stamina.
Ms. Priceputu considers that a gradual but consistent mastery of language skills will undoubtedly lead to a better understanding of other peoples’ background, perspective, history, and culture (poetry, prose, sayings, jokes). This can also lead to tolerance, inclusion, open-mindedness, and a more extended grasp of human character.
