ISNS Varsity Basketball Currently Sits at #1 Across the Board for Shenzhen SISAC League

Jan. 19, 2018

HIGH SCHOOL

ISNS High School Basketball teams competed in the PRC Red Division basketball tournament last weekend, with our boys traveling to SIS and our girls to ULC.

Boys 3rd Place

Our boys fell short of their opponents ULC at the semi-final stage, but finished the day strong by winning the consolation game against TIS Macau and returning home with the 3rd place trophy. Our girls team had a frustrating day and were unfortunately on the end of three narrow losses (by 4 points of less) to NCPA, SIS and QSID. bball week 11

Our teams have enjoyed much greater success in the Shenzhen SISAC League where they both sit in 1st Place after the 5-game regular season. Both teams will be travelling to play-offs next Monday, January 22 in the hopes of becoming the SISAC Champions of 2018. Boys play-offs will be held at BASIS - Shekou Sports Centre and girls travel to SWIS.

Later in the week, our teams will be jetting off to Beijing to compete in the season culminating Gold Division ACAMIS competition, hosted by BSB. The event will take place from Thursday January 25 – Saturday, January 27. We wish both of our teams huge success at the tournament and hope all their tireless hard work pays off for them!
