MYP English Language and Literature Teacher
James Baglole is originally from Prince Edward Island, Canada. In PEI, he studied at the University of Prince Edward Island where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in History and minor in English. Next, he completed his Bachelor of Education from Memorial University of Newfoundland. James completed his teaching internship in Saint Lucia, West Indies which provided him with international teaching experience. Additionally, James has certification through TESL Canada and has ESL teaching experience in Seoul, South Korea.
James came to China in 2013 and at ISNS since 2016 where he teaches Middle Years English: Language and Literature to Years 1, 2 and 3. He is currently completing a Masters degree in Educational Leadership through the University of Western Ontario to further his teaching capabilities and to embrace the concept of continued learning.
James wants his students to become lifelong learners and to inquire whenever they have any questions. He also wants his students to value collaborative work and to be caring and active learners.
