International Baccalaureate (IB)
In July, 2016, ISNS was granted authorization by the International Baccalaureate Organization to operate the Primary Years Program (PYP), Middle Years Program (MYP), and the Diploma Program (DP). ISNS is therefore a full IB World Continuum School.
IB World Schools share a common philosophy – a commitment to improve the teaching and learning of a diverse and inclusive community of students by delivering challenging, high quality programmes of international education with a powerful vision for the future.
All student in the IB Programmes work towards developing the attributes of the IB Learner Profile. Through the IB Learner Profile, ISNS aims to create good people who are responsible global citizens and leaders in the world.
The IB utilizes an approach to learning that is driven by inquiry which encourages students to explore and discover knowledge and skills.
Students are given the agency to guide their own learning and take responsibility for their progress.
Students explore key concepts that can be applied to the real world.
Learning happens collaboratively in an IB classroom so that students can develop key skills as they interact with their peers.

The International Baccalaureate® aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
IB Training for Teachers
All ISNS teachers must go through the official IB professional development training session(s) for the grade level and subject they teach.
