Grade 12 Dive into the communities and history of Poland and Prague

Our Grade 12 students were given an opportunity of a lifetime. Their trip to Poland and Prague introduced many cultural and historical experiences that few people have the chance to experience. From the gas chambers of Auschwitz and  Birkenau to the Wawel Cathedral, our grade 12 students took in the sights, sound, and voices of the people and places they met. Many noted that having the opportunity to meet a holocaust survivor was an experience they would never forget. Our students also collaborated in the Change Makers challenge to come up with micro-actionable solutions for the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN. They also had a special opportunity to serve the homeless to bring warmth to those less fortunate during the winter season. Throughout their trip, they spent quality time together cooking, learning, and appreciating the significance of each place they visited.
