Abbi was born in Shropshire, England and attended an international school herself during her high school years. She knows firsthand the magical environment of international schools like ISNS.

Abbi graduated from Durham University with a BA in English Literature. After graduating, Abbi obtained a distinction in her postgraduate degree in Education from Warwick University, where she specialized in secondary school education. Abbi is TEFL trained and a licensed instructor for the Teaching English in Multilingual Classrooms course. 

Abbi has just moved from Beijing to Shenzhen and has been living in China for the past five years. Previously, Abbi has lived in Sichuan and Shanghai.

Having held various pastoral leadership roles, Abbi is a keen believer in holistic education. She believes that happy students learn best and strives to create a supportive, engaging classroom environment. 

In her free time, Abbi enjoys reading, travelling and learning Mandarin. She is thrilled to be living in Shenzhen and working at ISNS.
