History
ISNS was established in 2002 to meet the educational needs of the international community in Shenzhen’s Nanshan District. Over time, the school expanded its academic offerings and became authorized to deliver the full continuum of International Baccalaureate programmes. The school follows a Canadian curriculum framework, aligned with the province of New Brunswick, implemented within the IB educational structure.
Founded in 2002, through the foresight and partnership among the Government of Canada, the Province of New Brunswick, and Dr. Francis Pang, ISNS offers students a rigorous, internationally recognized learning experience, an opportunity to meet students from around the world and the pathway to thrive at globally prestigious universities.
Atlantic Education international lnc. (AEl) was created in 1997 by the province of New Brunswick to deliver world class education opportunities to the global community through the New BrunswickDepartment of Education and Early Childhood Development.
In 1997, a partnership between Atlantic Education InternationalInc. (AEl) and the International and Concord Schools in China was formed. The schools offer both a K-12 international education program as well as a high school dual diploma program. The schools use the New Brunswick curriculum and approved English language assessments to ensure participating students reach the graduation requirements for a New Brunswick High School diploma. When a student successfully completes all requirements, and those results are verified, a diploma from the province of NewBrunswick is awarded to the students in the program.
Annual school inspections, verification that certified teachers are delivering intended course outcomes, and contact throughout the year with school owners and administrators comprise the quality assurance processes that AEl undertakes on behalf of the Province of New Brunswick's affiliated schools.
