Ben joined ISNS in 2024. He was born in England and has lived in China for more than four years, three of which in Shenzhen. Ben holds a Bachelors of Science (BSc) in Environmental Science from the University of Leeds and a PGCE from Leeds Trinity University. Before becoming an Educator Ben worked in hospitality and for a precious gem grading service. Ben has more than four years of experience in teaching English at training centres in Shanghai and Shenzhen, and one year of experience teaching Geography at secondary schools in England. 

In his free time Ben enjoys travelling to new places, experiencing new cultures, playing racket sports (particularly badminton), and watching comedic TV series. 

Ben is excited to learn and grow with his students in a positive classroom environment where critical thinking, creativity and positive communication are actively encouraged.
