Chan. Chen serves as a Physical Education Teaching Assistant for Grades 1, 4, and 5 at ISNS. He entered the physical education profession in September 2018, specializing in sports instruction from kindergarten through elementary levels with extensive teaching experience.  

Mr. Chan is a FIBA and Chinese Basketball Association-certified coach, he is also a qualified sports instructor and youth fitness coach. He has completed multiple professional development programs in child education and psychology.  

In the classroom, he collaborates with lead teachers to create inclusive sports environments through engaging team activities that develop students' collaborative skills and physical potential. He integrates IB philosophy by emphasizing rule compliance during games, encouraging personal breakthroughs in challenges, and identifying and removing participation barriers – ensuring students safely enjoy physical activities while cultivating lifelong fitness habits.  

An avid basketball player, Mr. Chan incorporates the sport's core values – teamwork, respect for rules, perseverance, and optimism – into his teaching methodology.
