Emma was born in Lincolnshire, England and brings experience from both UK and international school settings. Having lived and worked in China and the Middle East, she values the rich, diverse environments that international schools create and the opportunities they offer for students to develop a global perspective.
Emma graduated from the University of Lincoln with a degree in English and History and is currently completing an MSc in the Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing. Alongside her teaching, she has contributed to curriculum development across a range of key stages, including designing an alternative curriculum to support diverse learner needs and helping to shape engaging and relevant English programmes in international contexts.
With a strong commitment to pastoral care, Emma believes in a holistic approach to education. She is passionate about creating a supportive and purposeful classroom environment where students feel confident, develop curiosity, and take ownership of their learning.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, travelling, staying active through strength training, and spending time with her family. She is very much looking forward to moving to Shenzhen and becoming part of the ISNS community.
