Jenny Goodman grew up in Durango, Colorado. She is passionate about language acquisition both for her students and for herself. Her bachelor’s degree from Scripps College in international relations and politics with a focus on Asia and her master’s degree in Southeast Asian studies from Cornell University have paved the way for a career based in Asia. 

Of her 14 years teaching, Jenny spent 8 years at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand working with driven Faculty of Arts undergraduates. In 2024, Jenny was honored to receive an English Language Teaching fellowship to Sri Lanka, engaging with students and teachers alike to support their continuous professional development in the field of education. 

Jenny is delighted to join the dedicated team of teachers at ISNS to support learners on their educational journey.
