Judy Imamudeen

LPYP Coordinator (K2-G2)

Judy Imamudeen was deeply affected early in her career as an educator by a statistic that 70% of the jobs that grade three students will have in the future have not even been invented yet, making her wonder how she can prepare students best for the challenges and innovations that lie ahead. The longer she has been in education, the more she has come to understand that those future jobs are the result of the creativity and critical thinking skills that we are developing in our PYP classrooms TODAY. She believes that it's the combustible energy from igniting the heart alongside the mind that emboldens our students to shape a brighter and bolder future for everyone.

For over 22 years, she has remained energetic and committed to ensuring that students have future-ready skills, along with a passion for learning and attitudes for success. She enjoys ensuring that students have a fun, warm, and exciting academic environment where they feel challenged and appreciated.

With an extensive background working with multicultural backgrounds, Judy has served in schools in 7 different countries, across 3 continents. She has a Bachelors in Science and a Master of Education in Early Childhood and English as a Second Language. She is also an esteemed member of the larger IB network, collaborating on curriculum projects for the IB and providing professional development workshops for other educators.

Having lived previously in China before, Judy couldn’t be more delighted to return and become a member of the ISNS leadership team. We are pleased to have Judy as our PYP curriculum coordinator for grades K2-Grade 2.
