Martine Lusignan

DP Coordinator (G11-12) and Grade 12 Team Lead and DP French Teacher

Martine is a passionate educator and leader from Montreal, Canada.  Prior to her academic teaching profession, she was a professional classical ballet dancer, teacher, and artistic project director. After her artistic career, she studied organizational leadership at HEC Montreal, political sciences at Glendon University (BA), and French education for high school at Laurentian University (BA). She was teaching at Toronto French School Board before joining ISNS, in 2019. Creating a safe, positive, and motivating environment in the classroom inspires Martine as she fosters an open-minded and confident attitude.

 

In June 2023, Martine received a Master of Educational Leadership and Wellbeing from Southern Cross University, Australia. As a leader in the ISNS DP division, she aims to promote excellence by providing support to students and teachers. She uses the IB skills such as reflectiveness, thinking, organization, and collaboration to stimulate academic growth, open-mindedness and self-esteem for our outstanding students who are the future groundbreakers of society.


Martine, her husband John, and their daughter Morgane are honoured to be part of the ISNS team and share the IB program's philosophy.
