Michael Lattimore is the Lower School Principal at ISNS. Michael has an Honorary Bachelor's Degree in Music from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Michael has a PGCE and a Master's Degree in International Education from the University of Sunderland, and Michael has also completed the UK National Professional Qualification in Headship. 

Michael has taught in IB schools in South America and Asia. Michael has worked as PYP Coordinator, leading that school to achieve its IB Accreditation. As a Head of Primary/EY, he has overseen IB Evaluation and CIS Accreditation. 

Michael believes that students should be active learners with voice, choice, and ownership in their learning. Children should have their curiosity engaged through play-based and inquiry learning in a safe learning environment. Michael strongly advocates for restorative practices and the importance of developing and maintaining positive relationships.
