Ryan Imamudeen

Upper PYP Learning Support Teacher


Ryan is a Guyanese American who brings a wealth of experience to ISNS, having lived and worked in the Americas, the Middle East, and Asia. His wife and their eighth-grade child will be joining him at ISNS.  

 

Ryan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Management from the Southern Columbia University, a Master's in Education in Advanced Teaching from the University of the People in partnership with the IB, and a TEFL certificate. In his previous school, Ryan served as a Learning Support Coordinator and Crisis Management Team Coordinator for school safety and child protection.  

 

Ryan's philosophy on teaching and learning is based on the idea that every child is unique and has the potential to succeed. His mission revolves around creating an inclusive learning environment that focuses on the individual requirements of every learner. He recognizes that learning is a multifaceted process, encompassing everything from the learning environment to relationships and instructional techniques. 

With an unwavering commitment to student learning, Ryan is excited to join the ISNS student support team.
