Ryan Walsh is the High School Principal at ISNS. Originally from New Brunswick, Canada, Ryan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Education from Crandall University, and a Master of Education in Leadership in Learning from the University of Prince Edward Island. Ryan has also completed the UK National Professional Qualification for Headship and the Certificate in School Leadership and Management from Harvard University, and serves as an IB Evaluation Leader for Diploma Programme visits. 

Ryan has taught in international schools in China for the past 15 years, with 13 years of experience in IB World Schools. Ryan has worked across the PYP, MYP, and DP, and has held a range of leadership roles including MYP Service as Action Coordinator, CAS Coordinator, Extended Essay (EE) Coordinator, University Counselor, and Diploma Programme Coordinator. In his role as DP Coordinator, Ryan has overseen IB evaluation visits. Ryan also has extensive experience with the Council of International Schools (CIS) accreditation framework, having served as the CIS/WASC Coordinator at his previous school, where he led the school toward achieving membership.
