Sophie grew up in Shenzhen, China. She received a Bachelor degree in Psychology from the University of Oregon. She also completed her Master degree in Social Work, specialized in Mental Health: Children and Adolescents, from the Case Western Reserve University. Sophie is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the United States, and she holds a National Teacher Certification for Secondary School Mental Health Education in China.

Before joining ISNS, Sophie worked as a mental health counselor in both schools and community settings. With seven years of international experience, she brings a global perspective to her counseling practice. Sophie is passionate about supporting students and has expertise in addressing social, emotional, behavioral, and learning difficulties. She is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where students can develop the skills necessary to navigate the challenges of adolescence.
