Tim is from Spokane, Washington, USA. He has earned a bachelor’s in education from Eastern Washington University and his master’s in education from Concordia University. Tim has been working at international schools in Germany and China for the last 10 years. He taught for six years in a specialized classroom in the United States.  

Tim believes that all children are capable of learning in their own unique ways, and he enjoys getting to know his students so he can best support them on their academic journey. He believes in differentiating instruction so that all students can access the curriculum. Meeting students where they are in their learning helps them feel comfortable in the classroom, so they can get the most out of their time at school.  

Tim will be joined at ISNS by his wife and their six-year-old daughter. In their spare time, they enjoy traveling to new places in China and around Asia. They like trying new foods, staying active, and watching sports.
