The European Economics Olympiad was held in 2016, sponsored by the institute of Economic Education, and supported by the government agencies and famous companies, including Czech Ministry of Education, Czech Central Bank, Prague School of Economics and Price water house Coopers. As an emerging authoritative international economics competition, currently more than 20,000 high school students from 550 high schools in Hungary, Greece, Poland, Germany, France and other EU countries participate in it each year. The influence is expanding now, and more EU countries are participating. Europe has always been a frontier and academic center of global economics research. The European Economics Olympiad aims to help high schools promote economics-related education, exercise students’ logical thinking, problem solving and critical thinking skills, and stimulate students’ interest in the academic and professional development of economics.

In 2020, ASDAN China cooperated with the European Economics Olympic Organizing Committee to introduce this international economics competition to China, hoping to help Chinese high school students improve their academic strength in economics and participate in a truly top international economics competition.

欧洲经济学奥林匹克（European Economics Olympiad）于2016 年开始举办，由Institute of Economic Education 捷克经济教育学会主办，获得捷克教育部、捷克中央银行、布拉格经济学院、普华永道等政府机构和著名企业支持。作为一个新兴权威的国际经济学赛事，目前匈牙利、希腊、波兰、德国、法国等欧盟国家每年超过550所高中3万名同学参加，并且影响力在不断扩大、更多欧盟国家陆续参加。一直以来，欧洲都是全球经济学研究的前沿和学术重镇，欧洲经济学奥林匹克旨在帮助高中促进经济学相关的教育，锻炼同学的逻辑思维、问题解决和批判性思维能力，激发同学对经济学专业的学术和职业发展兴趣。

2020年，ASDAN中国与欧洲经济学奥林匹克组委会合作，独家承办“欧洲经济学挑战”中国区挑战，希望帮助中国高中生提高经济学学术实力，参与真正国际顶级的经济学赛事。

The top 5 students’ scores will be accumulated as the total score of the school. Schools with less than 5 participants will not be involved in the ranking.

All award winners will receive a digital certificate and be invited to participate in the National Round.
