Counselling
The Counselling Department supports the academic, social-emotional, and future readiness needs of students through a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate program. Our counsellors work collaboratively with students, families, teachers, administrators, and external providers to ensure students are supported holistically throughout their educational journey. Through classroom lessons, individual planning, responsive services, consultation, and schoolwide initiatives, the Counselling Department helps students develop the knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed to thrive in school, build meaningful relationships, make informed decisions, and successfully navigate future pathways.
Our Social-Emotional Counsellors support students' personal growth, well-being, and success by fostering the development of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. Through classroom guidance lessons, individual and small-group counselling, consultation, and collaboration with families and staff, counsellors help students build resilience, navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and develop the social-emotional skills needed to flourish both in and out of the classroom. The program is grounded in internationally recognized standards and promotes a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment for all students.
University and Career Counselling
Our University and Career Counsellors guide students as they explore their interests, strengths, aspirations, and future opportunities. Beginning in the middle years and continuing through graduation, students receive personalized support in academic planning, career exploration, university research, application preparation, and post-secondary decision-making. Through individual advising, classroom instruction, workshops, and partnerships with universities around the world, the program empowers students to make informed choices and confidently pursue pathways that align with their goals, values, and aspirations.
