One of the advantages of living in China is being able to order any type of food to be delivered right at your door step. In addition to Taobao/BaoPals there are a few vendors and stores in Shenzhen that deliver anything from organic vegetables to fully cooked meals. If you’re missing European cheeses, freshly baked bread or other Western groceries, order from NoGogo for a quick and easy delivery.

There are lots of “mom and pop” shops that sell food and the items around the neighborhood. You can get items delivered from most of these shops through two different apps: Mei-tuan (kangaroo logo) and E-le-ma. The biggest grocery store in our neighborhood is Hippo (owned by Alibaba), which quickly delivers groceries along with cooked food.
