The DEIJ Committee is made up  of educators eager to contribute to making ISNS a safe zone and  an enjoyable environment for everyone in our community. We are committed to engaging in open discussions about justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion   and finding strategies to foster   the well-being of each person.

Key Terms

Equity is the unique consideration of individual context to ensure equality in outcome.


Inclusion is a practice,supported by policies and guidelines, whereby people in a community actively invite people who are different than them and celebrate those


Social justice supports the ideal that there is a fair and equitable division of resources,opportunities, and privileges in society, where each individual matters, their rights are recognized and protected, they can reach their full potential,and decisions are made in ways that are fair and honest.
